Round 2 meetup – Warriors vs Raiders

Intro: Second game and the Raiders are away again. We’re the early game on Friday night that everyone stuggles to get to after work.

Meet Up: RMC will be meeting at The Great Northern Hotel as usual. Try to book the front bar first and if it’s full go for the bistro/dining room. As usual, make sure you state you’re coming to watch the raiders game in the booking. That way the pub will sit you by a screen showing the game.

Clashes: One benefit of the early game is that clashes aren’t a huge issue. There is an Essendon v Hawthorn game starting at 7:40pm but that shouldn’t be an issue. The bigger issue is the commentators constantly talking about the 8pm game instead of, you know, commentating, but that’s out of our hands.

Games before/after: Roosters v Rabbits is right after us at 8pm. I’m sure we’ll hear all about it through the game.

Tables booked: There is a table booked for the group under the name Canberra Raiders from 5:45pm. These seats/table are for anyone in this group so if you rock up feel free to sit there. If you’re coming as a group though it might be best to book another table or seats in the bar.

Other: Nothing at this stage.
