Round 6 meetup – Rabbitohs vs Raiders

Intro: Keep your eye out for random Souths fan in the pub this round. It’s also great each time we play to remember Jack leaving the Raiders to chase a premiership. That quote is the gift that just keeps on giving.

Meet Up: RMC will be meeting at The Great Northern Hotel as usual. Try to book the front bar first and if it’s full go for the bistro/dining room. As usual, make sure you state you’re coming to watch the raiders game in the booking. That way the pub will sit you by a screen showing the game.

Clashes: We’re the first NRL game on Saturday with Sharks vs Roosters after us at 5:30pm. In the AFL the North Melbourne vs Brisbane game should be finishing as we start, it’s on Melbourne anyway. Essendon vs Melbourne should be half way through, but again, this game is in Melbourne so there shouldn’t be too many at the pub for it. Swans vs Suns will also start towards the end of our game. So, lots happening but we should still be the loudest in the pub.

Tables booked: There is a table booked for the group under the name Canberra Raiders. These seats/table are for anyone in this group so if you rock up feel free to sit there. If you’re coming as a group though it might be best to book another table or the seats at the bar.
