Round 8 meetup – Tigers vs Raiders

Intro: As I write this (after round 2) it looks like the Tigers might not be the basket case they have been in recent years. Could it be that playing the Tigers is no longer a bonus bye round? We play them at Leichhardt Oval too.

Meet Up: RMC will be meeting at The Great Northern Hotel as usual. Try to book the front bar first and if it’s full go for the bistro/dining room. As usual, make sure you state you’re coming to watch the raiders game in the booking. That way the pub will sit you by a screen showing the game.

Clashes: We’re the only Thursday night game in the NRL. The Bulldogs are playing Sydney at Marvel so no real clash to speak of.

NRLW games before/after: The NRLW starts in July.

Tables booked: There is a table booked for the group under the name Canberra Raiders. These seats/table are for anyone in this group so if you rock up feel free to sit there. If you’re coming as a group though it might be best to book another table or the seats at the bar.
